Job Title: Tax Manager

Manufacturing Company seeks a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with tax regulations, financial reporting, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and coordination of US federal income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and tax credits.
  • Preparation and coordination of state and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and tax credits.
  • International tax filings, including forms 5471, 8858, and 8865.
  • Assistance with federal and state audits, including responses to IRS and state audit requests.
  • Analysis and disclosure of income tax risks, including ASC 740.
  • Research and analysis of tax issues, including federal and state tax depreciation calculations.
  • Documentation of Sarbanes Oxley processes and controls related to taxes.
  • Participation in special projects, tax planning, and other tax compliance as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA or working towards CPA designation.
  • 2-4 years of tax compliance experience.
  • Prior ASC 740 experience or knowledge.
  • Experience with OneSource RS tax compliance software or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically with managing large data within MS Excel.
  • Previous public accounting or large corporate industry experience.
