Job Overview

Brunswick Community College seeks a dedicated Mathematics Instructor to teach Mathematics-related courses, prepare and administer periodic tests, maintain student attendance records, and serve as an academic advisor.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000.00, based on the Brunswick Community College scale and determined by the candidate's education and experience related to higher education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Mathematics or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Math. You should also demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Office, Office 365, Moodle, and Outlook.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Mathematics-related courses and their associated topics
  • Prepare, administer, and grade periodic tests, assignments, and program assessment data
  • Maintain records of student attendance as required by Brunswick Community College
  • Serve as an academic advisor to students
  • Participate in college committees
