About the Position
The School of Engineering at the Lebanese American University is seeking a highly qualified applicant for a full-time tenure-track strategic faculty hire in the area of Artificial Intelligence. This position will be at the assistant professor rank, but qualified candidates with established teaching and research credentials will be considered at higher ranks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in a research center and as part of one of eight multi-disciplinary research clusters that are established in the area of Artificial Intelligence.
- Attract external funding to support research initiatives.
- Supervise graduate students and postdocs.
- Teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Engineering.
- Postdoctoral experience is a plus.
