About the RoleThe Medical Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Emergency Department, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, enhancing the patient experience, and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to the Emergency Department team
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance
- Manage the regular operations of the Emergency Department, including physician scheduling, staffing, and resource management
- Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to support the hospital's mission and strategic goals
- Support the professional development of the medical team through ongoing education, training, and mentorship
