We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as an Ambulatory Care Specialist Lead at Novant Health. This role requires a strong leader who can coordinate and assist the provider to ensure quality and cost-effective service and care for patients within the cardiac patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and assist the provider to ensure quality and cost-effective service and care for patients within the cardiac patient population.
- Serve as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic and personalized relationship with patients and their chosen support system.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death.
- Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey.
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Current RN license in appropriate state.
- Experience in telemetry, CCU, cardiac step-down unit, and physician practice environment.
- Experience with Coumadin dosing.
