Job Description

QSAC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team in the East Region. This essential role is responsible for general operations of QSAC Residences and maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that fosters growth and facilitates the development of independence and personal goals for the individuals receiving services.

The Assistant Manager will support and supervise staff as they work with the individuals in the residential setting and in the community. Key responsibilities include reviewing residential binders, conducting periodic fire drills, completing and submitting injury reports, maintaining individual personal allowance accounts, and coordinating household items and groceries for meal distribution.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and a minimum of 1 year of supervisory work experience. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required for site visits. The ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights and 20 lb. items is also essential.

QSAC offers a competitive salary range of $41,000-$45,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Vaccination required
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1-2 years' experience driving large passenger vehicle required
  • 1-2 years' experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities required

  • Demonstrates patience and the ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures in order to enhance individual independence and quality of life
