Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Providence Newberg Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As an ICU nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our ICU department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and excellent communication skills. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including charting, medication administration records, and lab results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current Oregon RN license.
  • 1 year of ICU experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
