We're seeking a skilled Barback to join our team at Bally's Chicago. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and have an unforgettable experience.
Job Summary:The Barback will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our bars, ensuring that bartenders have the necessary supplies to provide top-notch service to our guests. This includes stocking beverages, monitoring the pump room, and performing various cleaning tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Foster a fun and entertaining atmosphere that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy.
- Provide exceptional guest service and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
- Stock beverage outlets with wine, bottled beer, and other beverages.
- Monitor the pump room and perform cleaning tasks as needed.
- Wash glasses, bar equipment, and polish bar fixtures.
- Restock bar snacks and clean the bar area, including floors, counters, and other surfaces.
- Remove empty bottles and trash.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the casino property, including the Front and Heart of House areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have six months or more related experience.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.
- Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.
