Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with daily living tasks: dressing, toileting, lifting, and feeding (including G-tube feeding).
  • Assist educators and therapists with routine classroom activities.
  • Adhere to the classroom schedule set by the educator, aiding students in achieving their educational objectives, and documenting their progress through basic data collection.
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans for applicable students.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe classroom environment by sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist students during arrival and dismissal, ensuring their safe transition on and off vehicles.
  • Transport students to their assigned classrooms.
  • Accompany and support students in specialized classes such as swimming, horticulture, art, physical education, and music.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain necessary clearances for Acts 34, 114, and 151 (Criminal, Child Abuse, Federal Criminal).
  • Meets all Federal employment requirements.
