Position InformationWakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in various specialty areas. We are a leader in cardiac and vascular care, with a well-established group offering comprehensive services. Our team provides a full spectrum of diagnostic, invasive, and interventional cardiovascular services to patients from throughout the region. Our providers are board-certified in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties, including general cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, electrophysiology, cardiovascular imaging, nuclear cardiology, complex venous disease, and vascular ultrasound.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a physician with expertise in imaging to join our expanding cardiology group in the Raleigh region. The ideal candidate will have established credentials for cardiac CT and MR with level III cardiac MRI required and Level II cardiac CT preferred. The typical call coverage/schedule will be determined based on the level of clinical duties versus imaging/administrative responsibilities. Our practice is supported 24/7 by a skilled group of advanced practice providers, a world-class cardiovascular surgery program, and comprehensive critical care services.
Responsibilities- Provide expert care in cardiac imaging, including cardiac CT and MR
- Participate in the development and implementation of cardiovascular services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents
- Board certification in cardiology or a related field
- Established credentials in cardiac imaging, including level III cardiac MRI and Level II cardiac CT
- At least 1 year of professional experience in cardiology or a related field
