Director of Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team at Brookdale Emerson. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical services of our community, ensuring residents' healthcare needs are met, and supervising and providing leadership to licensed nurses and other direct care staff. You will also be responsible for building relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate exceptional personalized care.

Manage the day-to-day clinical services of a more complex community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.

Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensure quality care as residents' healthcare needs change.

Supervise and provide leadership, as well as coaching, to licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community.

May be responsible for leading additional clinical leadership team up to five members.

The HWD level for each community is determined based on the total complexity of the role, including factors such as size, type of product lines, medication management regulations, 90-day assessment requirements, multiple licensure requirements, state regulatory complexity, and skilled services requiring an RN.

Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).

Driver's license.

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, and Clinical leadership experience preferred.

Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation.
