Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Opportunity

LifePoint Health is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Job Summary

As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting. This includes performing plan of care interventions, monitoring and recording patient conditions, and collaborating with the care team to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Monitor and record patient conditions, communicating with the care team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support as needed.
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current state nursing license.
  • Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position.
  • Degree from an accredited school.
  • Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
