Des Moines University is seeking a faculty member to teach courses and/or advise students in the MPH and/or MHA program curricula. As a faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach online graduate courses in public health or health administration, preparing syllabi, learning materials, and assessments, and engaging with students through frequent communication and feedback.
- Seek and evaluate innovative educational methodologies to enhance teaching and learning activities.
- Modify course content, assessments, and teaching style based on assessment results, professional development experience, and curricular mapping results.
- Participate in departmental course peer-review processes.
- Hold a graduate degree in public health or health administration, or a closely related discipline, with a Master's degree and professional experience or a Doctoral degree considered.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and effective student evaluation methods.
- Membership in good standing in relevant professional organizations.
