About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Lead to join our team at Road Runner Sports. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and model the behaviors that support a WOW customer experience
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability
  • Provide coaching and training to sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Manage and maintain a high-performing sales floor, including visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Collaborate with the store leadership team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and provide feedback to sales team members
  • Assist with new hire training and onboarding
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment
  • Excellent customer experience skills, including a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written format
