We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Consultant to join our dynamic team at ProCare Therapy. This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education.
Position Type: Full-Time
Student Population: High School
Compensation: $$63,718 to $99,987 - based on experience and qualifications
As this is a direct hire position, benefits and salary will be managed through the district.
In this role, you will be part of a supportive educational environment, working collaboratively with a team of paraprofessionals and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with parents and specialists to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning styles and capabilities of students.
- Deliver specialized instruction in core academic subjects, including reading, writing, and mathematics, aligned with students' IEP objectives.
- Regularly evaluate student progress using a variety of assessment tools and modify instruction as necessary.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adjust curriculum and instructional resources to support diverse learners.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline is mandatory.
- K-12 Special Education Certification in California is mandatory.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening is mandatory.
