Job Overview

The HVACR Installation Specialist is a crucial member of the CPR Air Conditioning team, reporting directly to the Installation Manager. This role involves executing a variety of HVACR installation tasks across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in specialized Installation Department teams to ensure efficient and timely HVACR installations.
  • Carry out standard HVACR installation tasks independently, without the need for direct supervision.
  • Support Senior Installation Technicians in mentoring new CPR personnel on installation techniques and best practices.
  • Engage in point-of-work sales for Indoor Air Quality services, unit components, and unit replacements.
  • Assist with non-installation tasks that support the Indoor Air Quality and Service Departments as needed.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by the Installation Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school and a post-secondary HVACR training program lasting two years or more.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time experience in HVACR, either in service or installation roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret manufacturers' installation guidelines and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Physical capability to perform all required tasks under varying environmental conditions.
  • Proactive in enhancing HVACR skills through self-directed learning, company training, and participation in workshops.
  • Willingness to develop sales techniques for point-of-service interactions, including generating leads and selling services.
  • Possession of a valid operator's license and the ability to operate all vehicle types within the corporate fleet.
  • Ability to manage work efficiently under time constraints and adapt to diverse customer needs and demands.
