We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping troubled youth and families live successfully. Our team of over 4,500 individuals works across 27 states to provide intensive in-home treatment services to youth, families, and young adults.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Community-Based Specialist to join our team. As a Community-Based Specialist, you will provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth, families, or young adults. You will work closely with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth, families, or young adults
  • Manage a small case load to provide quality, intensive counseling
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families through on-call duties
  • Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Attend weekly meetings for support and professional development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social services field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in social services required
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
  • Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation
  • Acceptable driving record
