Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Lead to act as the primary technician overseeing all mechanical systems within our operations. This role is vital in delivering a broad spectrum of operational support services, including installation, maintenance, and project management, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and functionality of mechanical systems across all operational facilities.
- Guide and mentor mechanical technicians in diagnosing and resolving system issues.
- Ensure compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards during maintenance and repairs.
- Manage mechanical system capacity to align with current and anticipated demand.
- Implement and uphold relevant regulations, codes, and policies governing mechanical operations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and communicate performance standards to the team.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients to foster mutual business benefits.
- Propose enhancements to improve the efficiency and quality of mechanical operations and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and conduct analyses to enhance contract performance.
- Actively seek client feedback and participate in meetings and audits.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- HVAC Journeyman License or higher is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of commercial mechanical systems.
- Experience with commercial boilers rated at a minimum of 250 horsepower is essential.
- Proficiency in commercial control systems, particularly with Siemens and Honeywell systems, is highly desired.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial water treatment and distribution systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of facilities maintenance, including mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills are necessary.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and working under pressure is crucial.
- Familiarity with the ARCHIBUS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is a plus.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
