Job Summary

CPKC is seeking a skilled Track Laborer to join our team. As a Track Laborer, you will be responsible for performing track maintenance and renewal work, including travel along the former DM&E territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel along the former DM&E territory, performing track maintenance and renewal work
  • Use hand tools and small machines, operating track renewal equipment
  • Stand, lift, and squat for long periods, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs or greater

Requirements

  • 4 on 3 off schedule (10 hour shifts)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site, and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform physical work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations, performing tasks in accordance with those rules
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or GED
  • CDL license or ability to obtain one (CPKC will help cover associated costs)
