As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care following established protocols and standards.
- Develop and oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are effectively implemented and monitored.
- Observe, document, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team.
- Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing directives accurately.
- Assess and manage discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the relevant nursing board prior to employment.
- Required certifications include:
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support is preferred.
- Educational requirements include a diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at the time of hire.
