Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS or RDCS).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Work Environment:

Providence Newberg Medical Center is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, serving the community with a total staff of 60 beds. Our facility features a modern design and state-of-the-art equipment, including Epic charting system.
