Job Summary

Dallas College is seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of events across the institution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing events of varying sizes and modalities, with a strong commitment to customer service and team collaboration.

The Event Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, working closely with campus-wide departments to plan and implement quality events. This role will require the ability to analyze and study the brand, identify target audiences, and devise event concepts, as well as coordinate technical aspects and manage logistics.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, event planning, or communications, and at least five years of experience in event management, marketing, or customer service. They will be able to prioritize multiple projects, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop events of varying sizes and modalities, including project management approaches.
  • Analyze and study the brand, identify target audiences, and devise event concepts.
  • Coordinate technical aspects, manage logistics, and work with campus-wide departments to plan and implement quality events.

Requirements
