The Earth Elements Design Center specializes in providing premium custom home interior finishes to the construction sector. We are your comprehensive source for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring.

With three physical Showroom locations in the North-West Region, our business is rapidly expanding across the United States and the Caribbean through our proprietary advanced software solution.

The Role


In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Showroom Manager and Cabinetry Team to support the successful execution of cabinetry projects on both local and regional levels.

The Cabinetry Solutions Consultant will engage in activities related to sales, client selections, design, and ordering of cabinetry projects.

• Welcoming clients by greeting them and engaging in conversation to assess their needs

• Delivering exceptional customer service consistently

• Demonstrating showroom product knowledge and assisting colleagues in providing additional items or services for clients

• Aiding homeowners and/or trade professionals with design requirements based on specific project products and applications

• Interpreting Architectural Plans

• Preparing estimates for materials and installation while adhering to bid deadlines

• Monitoring and managing job opportunities through the Design Schedule software

Utilizing Computer Programs including:
Outlook, Elements, Bluebeam, 2020, AutoCad, and other department-specific software

• Keeping abreast of current trends, markets, and product lines

• Following up with clients regarding accounts receivable

• Collaborating with accounting to ensure accurate project invoicing

• Participating in local events as needed (e.g., Home Show, Parade of Homes, etc.)

• Engaging in personal professional development

• Assisting with opening and closing procedures

• Answering phones and directing calls appropriately

• Ordering and labeling samples

• Maintaining organization of the showroom and sample displays

• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Design is preferred

• Minimum of two years of sales experience is required

• Experience in the building, design, or architecture industry is preferred

• Familiarity with product areas and lines is preferred

• Proficiency in Math and English is essential

• A clean driving record is necessary to meet insurability qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be results-oriented, demonstrate good organizational abilities, show initiative, and be a self-starter. A focus on customer/client satisfaction, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks is essential.

This position operates in a professional setting. The role typically involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. While primarily indoors in well-lit, well-ventilated areas, there may be occasions requiring outdoor work.


This is a sedentary role; however, it may involve lifting approximately 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of smaller objects and samples; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity are required.

This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be requested occasionally.


Local travel may be required, with a driving distance of up to 1 hour during business hours, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be necessary.

Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required for insurance eligibility.
