Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with their personal needs and care, including mobility and daily living activities.
  • Work effectively as a team member within the department and with all departments or other disciplines.
  • Communicate and cooperate with team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to unsafe environmental conditions and emergency situations.
  • Apply mechanical supports and soft restraints properly, and document them consistently and accurately.
  • Identify the basic principles of nutrition and hydration, and recognize and report deviation from resident's normal food/fluid intake/output.
  • Perform infection control practices, including proper handwashing techniques, use of gloves, and proper disposal of blood and body fluids.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Basic knowledge of infection control practices.
