We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LVN Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
- Develop and evaluate methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate with attending physicians and medical directors regarding resident care issues.
- Determine staffing needs and recruit, hire, and train nursing service personnel.
- Develop work assignments and schedules, and participate in supervising staff to ensure tasks are completed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program.
- Participate in the facility's nursing on-call schedule and perform other duties as assigned.
- Current Texas LVN licensure.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility.
- Preferred: current RUG certification.
