Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled hospital care provider to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care, promote positive patient outcomes, and contribute to a culture of excellence within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Planning: Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient progress.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Educating Patients and Families: Teach patients and families about their care, provide emotional support, and empower them to take an active role in their recovery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Certification: BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or NRP certification may be required depending on the department.
- Education: ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of applicable experience in a hospital setting.
