Job Description

The District Manager oversees a portfolio of Manufactured Housing Communities and RV Campground Resorts, working closely with Property Managers and senior management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional experiences for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to drive revenue growth and occupancy goals.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to prepare annual budgets and reforecasting estimates.
  • Minimize delinquencies and optimize budgeted revenues through effective management strategies.
  • Ensure timely completion of capital improvements while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Review and approve annual rent increase proposal worksheets and distribute rent increase letters in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Work with community and resort managers to maintain high standards of quality and appearance at our facilities.
  • Train managers to foster good guest and resident relationships through ongoing communications, responsiveness, and event promotion.
  • Support sales efforts and build a cohesive team environment that combines sales and operations.
  • Collaborate with managers to inspire pride in maintaining properties, demonstrated by compliance with rules, attention to home maintenance, and attractive landscaping.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Five or more years of regional-level property management experience, preferably in multi-family or resort environments.
  • Superior supervisory and leadership experience, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to work with multiple systems.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
