Job Summary

As a Field Supt MOD at Schindler Elevator Corporation, you will be responsible for managing new installation and modernization projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and profitably. You will review and book projects, provide approved submittals, and interface with the Field Superintendent to track job progress. Additionally, you will seek change notice opportunities, prepare change order paperwork, and ensure timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new installation and modernization projects to ensure efficient and profitable completion.
  • Review and book projects, providing approved submittals and coordinating with factory and local vendors.
  • Interface with Field Superintendent to track job progress and notify manager of any issues.
  • Seek change notice opportunities and prepare change order paperwork.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and payment of 90% before elevator turnover.


Requirements

  • BS/AS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator industry or related building systems industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
