The Clinical Nurse is pivotal in delivering empathetic care to patients and their families, showcasing compassion and attentive listening. Acknowledging the significance of each team member's role is vital for fostering the organization's success.
- Implements physician directives, administers medications, conducts treatments, and meticulously documents patient care in alignment with organizational policies and standards.
- Analyzes diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
- Evaluates patient needs and reactions to care provided, utilizing sound nursing judgment.
- Administers primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and health issues.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to formulate comprehensive patient care strategies.
- Offers mentorship to ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- 1-3 years of relevant clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of quality improvement principles and problem-solving methodologies.
