About the Role

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for purchasing, inventory control, and billing of all pharmaceutical and related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmacy inventory.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels and ensure correct prices are billed from vendors.
  • Manage the department's drug budget and make recommendations for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the Director/Pharmacy and Pharmacy Technician II to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform various inventory control and related clerical duties in support of the purchasing function.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Florida Board of Pharmacy approved pharmacy technician training program.
  • Minimum 1-year inventory control or purchasing experience in a hospital or healthcare institution; Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy; Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT).
