Bridgton Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our specialized step-down unit.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, prioritizing their needs and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Perform accurate interpretation and management of patient dysrhythmias, using your expertise to make informed decisions.
  • Care for patients with multi-system organ failure, adhering to unit protocols and ensuring the highest level of care.

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist at Bridgton Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses, including sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, pneumonia, and alcohol withdrawal. You will also be required to float to take medical-surgical or telemetry patients as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an ICU or step-down setting.
  • Active RN license by the start date.
  • Experience with Omnicell and Cerner systems preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of $2204.00 per week, based on industry standards and market conditions. Our facility is smoke-free, and COVID-19 vaccination is not required. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
