We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood and other medical specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Enter patient information and specimen data into our laboratory information system
- Provide superior customer service to patients and colleagues
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or in a related healthcare role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
