This individual will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and shipment of merchandise, as well as leading a team of warehouse workers and industrial equipment operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse workers and industrial equipment operators to ensure accurate and efficient receipt and shipment of merchandise.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and audit inventory levels to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on departmental best practices and procedures.
  • Communication: Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of job assignments.
  • Performance Management: Recognize and measure acceptable performance standards of the team.
  • Technology: Utilize various computer systems to research data and information to support team goals and objectives.
  • Supply Chain Management: Assist in the procurement and allocation of packaging materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other materials necessary for team tasks.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist the Receiving or Shipping Departments as needed, and inspect equipment before moving it.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License: Must have a valid CDL license.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a similar work environment is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with personal computers and other computer systems is preferred.
