Medical Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at LabCorp. As a Medical Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Process specimens for testing and analysis
• Enter patient information into our database accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency required
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
