About the Role

The Direct Support Professional will work closely with our clients to develop personalized plans that meet their unique needs and goals. This may involve assisting with mobility and physical therapy exercises, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the group home environment, and maintaining accurate records of progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Help with household chores such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individuals' progress, incidents, and any changes in their condition
  • Advocate for the needs and preferences of individuals, ensuring their rights and choices are respected
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in direct care or related field
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Certification (preferred)
  • AMAP certification (preferred)
