Sandalwood Management, Inc. is a leading property management company seeking an accomplished Executive Property Management Lead to spearhead the management of our real estate portfolio and drive business success.

Job Description:

The Executive Property Management Lead will be responsible for overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring seamless execution of company policies and procedures, and driving business growth through effective leadership and strategic planning.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for individual communities, aligning with company objectives and strategies.
  • Analyze and assess the operational performance of each community, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with institutional owner clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate performance, provide guidance, and address concerns.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of community team members.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, developing and implementing strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Experience working with institutional owner clients
  • Knowledge of LIHTC and HUD affordable housing programs
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CPM, CAPS, CAM, etc.) preferred
  • Proficient in YARDI Systems property management software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Minimum of a high school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of on-site property management experience
