About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist I to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of therapy.

• Administer radiation therapy treatments, observing radiation safety measures and maintaining a safe environment for patients and personnel.

• Monitor patients and equipment during treatment, maintaining accurate records and updating patient charts as required.

• Assist in the simulation of patients prior to radiation treatments, working closely with Radiation Oncologists and Physicists to ensure accurate treatment plans.

• Maintain departmental records, schedules, and supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy.

• Valid Massachusetts license in Radiation Therapy.

• Demonstrated clinical knowledge, effective verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills.
