Volt is actively seeking a Warehouse Material Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the physical and administrative tasks associated with the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of various products and materials.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Handle heavy items and operate motorized equipment within the warehouse, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping records, documenting weights and shipping charges while ensuring goods are ready for dispatch.
  • Assess, stock, and distribute materials within inventory and on production lines.
  • Assist in preparing kitting packages for assembly operations.
  • Engage in routine assignments that require limited judgment and follow detailed instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with forklifts and cherry pickers.
  • Proficient in loading and unloading trailers.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • High school diploma or GED.

This position is a contract opportunity with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, starting at 10 AM. The role typically spans 8.5 hours each day.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, with the pay range determined by various factors including education, experience, and specific job duties.
