Hearing Care Specialist

Full-Time Opportunity

The Hearing Care Specialist will be responsible for a variety of essential functions:

1. Exhibits exceptional written communication skills, ensuring documentation is precise, thorough, timely, and adheres to departmental and regulatory standards.
2. Gathers and interprets diagnostic information, considering both current patient presentations and historical medical data when making evaluations.
3. Conducts patient evaluations, formulates treatment strategies, and establishes individualized patient objectives.
4. Initiates patient care processes promptly and adheres strictly to established treatment schedules.
5. Accurately records and submits patient charges within a 24-hour timeframe following treatment.
6. Completes annual competency assessments relevant to the position, including age-specific competencies.
7. Fulfills program specialist competency requirements/checklists as applicable to the current role. (In-Patient only)
8. Demonstrates a willingness and capability to be cross-trained in accordance with credentials, licensure, and departmental needs.
9. Aids in the orientation and training of new personnel and/or students.
10. Performs additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Hearing Care Specialist

Full-Time Opportunity

Candidates for the Hearing Care Specialist position must fulfill the following minimum qualifications:

1. Completion of a Master's degree from an accredited Audiology program.
2. At least one clinical rotation in a Rehabilitation Services environment (e.g., Acute Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Facility, Acute Medical, Outpatient, Home Health).
3. Valid Ohio licensure and possession of a Clinical Competence certificate.
4. Proficient in reading, writing, and conveying moderately complex information to other healthcare professionals.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess situational requirements and resolve issues effectively.


Compensation: $68,000 - $91,000 annually
