Your Job Description

As a Receiving Specialist & Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for managing store backroom operations, processing weekly pallets, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with your colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for store presentation, housekeeping, merchandising, and retail standards.

You'll split your time between receiving hours and selling hours, earning base pay during receiving hours and commission during selling hours. During receiving hours, you'll focus on managing inventory, processing products, and maintaining a strong sense of product knowledge.

During selling hours, you'll engage with customers, answer product-related queries, and make recommendations to drive sales. You'll also participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous retail, inventory management, customer service, or sales experience
  • The ability to work a retail schedule, including occasional nights/evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong computer acumen, writing, and math skills to manage inventory and control cash
  • A self-starter mentality with a keen attention to detail
  • An open mind and willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • Experience with computers and POS systems, particularly RetailPro
