Job Summary

The Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality women's health care services to our patients, including well-women visits, routine screening tests, health maintenance, and anticipatory guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive women's health care services, including routine screening tests and health maintenance, to patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with community OB/GYN providers to ensure timely referral and shared medical care.
  • Work closely with other team members to accomplish assigned goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with CHC standards, including those established by the Joint Commission, State of Connecticut licensure, and CHC internal quality committees.
  • Adhere to CHC standards for Electronic Health Record charting and documentation.
  • Participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Licensed or license eligible in State of Connecticut.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Board Certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Commitment to care of underserved populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Computer skills required.
