Responsibilities may encompass monitoring heating systems, conducting routine maintenance, alerting management to repair needs, and clearing snow or debris from walkways.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after hours and monitoring electrical appliance usage to prevent hazards.
- Clean, service, and restock restroom facilities.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials.
- Maintain building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Adhere to procedures for utilizing chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage to surfaces.
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or acids according to specifications.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as required.
- Inform management of significant repair needs or enhancements to building systems.
- Order supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
- Comply with all safety regulations and project guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned.
