Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.



Job Description:

As a Field Calibration Technician at VBB, you will be responsible for performing and documenting the required calibrations of instrumentation within our facility. This includes preventative and corrective calibrations on scales, pressure temperature chambers, pH/cond meters, and other lab instruments.



You will also assist with higher level calibrations and perform administrative tasks for the calibration team. Your attention to detail and process analytical skills are essential for this role.



We require a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience calibrating equipment. Experience operating and maintaining facility equipment in a medical device or pharmaceutical GMP environment is preferred.



Additionally, ASQ - Certified Calibration Technician certification is an asset.



Responsibilities:


  • Perform calibration of equipment and instrumentation on a routine basis
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment
  • Review Calibration Documentation from Vendors and upload onto CMMS
  • Maintain new equipment and enter information
  • Manage Pipettes, calibration standards, and additional small equipment
  • Adhere to all established Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Policies (i.e., lockout/tagout, arc flash, OJTs)

Work Environment: 60-80% travel required, primarily on the West Coast.
