Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify their physical and emotional needs, and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Administer various treatment modalities, including physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities, to help patients achieve their treatment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered care.
