Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As a Nuclear Cardiology Specialist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear cardiology studies, including image acquisition and processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • BLS (AHA) certification is required.
    • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) Verification is required.

    • Specialty in nuclear cardiology.
    • Ability to perform nuclear cardiology studies, including image acquisition and processing.
  • Job Requirements
    • BLS (AHA) certification.
    • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) Verification required.
    • Must possess a thorough knowledge of nuclear cardiology.
    • Skill in performing exams in a competent manner.
    • Ability to prepare radioactive isotopes for injection.
    • Ability to perform cardiac imaging.
    • Skill in performing daily backups on NMIS, file maintenance, and record-keeping required by the NRC.
    • Adept at starting IVs and assisting with blood draws.
    • Willingness to complete yearly radiation safety video and quiz.
    • Competency in glucose monitor usage.
    • Ability to comply with hospital regulations and complete compliance competencies.
    • Capability to operate the hospital Pyxis system.
    • Proficiency in entering cardiolite stress test encounters into Citrix for billing purposes.
    • Experience with regular stress test and EECP encounter data entry into Citrix (when needed).
  • Schedule Information
    • Contract length: 13 weeks.
    • 8 hr days.
  • Unit Specific Information
    • Nuclear cardiology studies.
    • Assists with stress test phone confirmations.
    • Maintains all records required by the NRC.
    • Completes hospital Pyxis tutorial.
    • Assists CHF Clinic with blood draws.
  • Additional Details
    • ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE AN UNEXPIRED COPY OF THE CANDIDATE'S DRIVER'S LICENSE.
