County of Sonoma, CA is seeking a Staff Psychiatrist to join their team. As a key member of the Department of Health Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in various settings. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $260,159.51 - $316,198.68 annually. You will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health and substance use disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients utilizing evidence-based practices
- Providing medication management and monitoring for patients with psychiatric conditions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Requirements
- Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California
- A current Drug Enforcement Association License
- A certification of completion of a residency training program in psychiatry, approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
