Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Espanola, New Mexico. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Description:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing respiratory care services to individual patients and their families
  • Assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given
  • Responding to medical emergencies throughout the facility
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) certification
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
