Key Responsibilities- Maintain competency in scrubbing procedures, adhering to aseptic and sterile techniques, and upholding universal precautions.
- Stay current with knowledge of instruments, including identification, proper use, and decontamination/sterilization.
- Collaborate with the procedural team and adhere to the scope of practice for a Procedural Technician.
- Develop and maintain age-specific knowledge and skills to meet patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Consult and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing educational activities and maintain records of competency and lifelong learning.
- Certification in C-CCORT, CST, or SURGTECH (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 year of Operating Room experience (preferred)
