Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Campbell, California.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
- Perform technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care, utilizing efficient and safe processes.
- Select equipment and transducers according to specifications of examination, and adjust equipment controls to optimize image quality.
- Start equipment and record diagnostic data on magnetic tape, computer disk, or film.
- Monitor sound wave display screens to ensure high-quality ultrasonic patterns.
- Photograph images of organs and remove strip printouts to obtain permanent records of internal examinations.
- Key test data and patient information into computer systems to maintain accurate records of test results.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
- Specialized certifications in Breast, Fetal Echocardiography, Ob-Gyn, Abdomen, and Pediatric Sonography.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
