Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Coordinator role is an integral part of the Operations Team, working closely under the guidance of the Business Manager. This position is responsible for the management and coordination of resources and personnel to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients, vendors, and employees. The Supply Chain Coordinator must adhere to corporate policies, health and safety protocols, and all relevant regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main duties include:

  • Act as the primary facilitator for logistics coordination by maintaining a comprehensive schedule for personnel and equipment, making daily deployment decisions to optimize resource utilization.
  • Prioritize client projects and tasks to minimize subcontracting expenses through effective resource management.
  • Oversee the scheduling of new orders and adapt to changes in ongoing projects as necessary.
  • Maintain active communication with field personnel to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
  • Engage with vendors and service providers throughout project execution and completion.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support efficient field operations.
  • Provide guidance to field staff by clearly communicating and enforcing company policies.
  • Stay informed about all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and communicate incoming loads with the Yard supervisor.
  • Maintain current Standard Operating Procedures for job sites.
  • Prepare and distribute work orders and manifests to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for drivers and field staff.
  • Manage driver credentialing processes.
  • Approve weekly payroll.
  • Review and coordinate time-off requests for drivers and field staff.
  • Organize physical examinations for drivers and field staff.
  • Ensure compliance with required training for drivers and field staff.
  • Ensure fleet operations comply with all applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate equipment rentals as needed.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department for fleet upkeep and repairs.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for drivers and field staff.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the environmental industry, with at least one year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong analytical and persuasive abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and possess strong organizational, supervisory, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Understanding of equipment capabilities for various job types.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including those with hazardous conditions.
  • Must hold valid licenses and meet all driving requirements.
  • Willingness to work beyond regular hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required.
  • Successful completion of a background check and substance abuse screening is required.
